Job summary

DPD UK in Newcastle is seeking a Category C+E Driver to join our nationwide transport network. This permanent role offers 40 hours per week and steady progression within a market-leading, sustainability-driven company.

The position runs Wednesday to Sunday, with a shift from 01:00 to 09:30 and pay at £16.35 per hour plus enhanced overtime. We value reliability, safety, and a clear career path in logistics.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months recent LGV C+E driving experience.
• Current UK CPC Card and a Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and aligned with DPD values.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area with time-sensitive deliveries.
• Uphold time-critical scheduling requirements and service standards for world-class delivery.
• Maintain digital journey records and comply with tachograph and transport regulations.
• Participate in safe loading/unloading of trailers and protect freight integrity.
• Act as an ambassador for the DPD brand with a flexible, solution-oriented approach.
