Job summary

DPD UK in Chelmsford is seeking a Category C+E Driver to join our nationwide transport network. This permanent role covers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a shift from 11:00 to 19:45, and pays £16.35 per hour plus enhanced overtime rates.

You will handle multi-drop deliveries, maintain strict time-critical schedules, and ensure compliance with tachograph regulations while representing the DPD brand with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
• At least 6 months recent experience operating LGV C+E vehicles.
• Current UK CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-drop collections and deliveries across local area.
• Ensure time-critical scheduling and uphold world-class service standards.
• Maintain accurate digital journey records and comply with tachograph regulations.
• Assist in safe and secure loading/unloading of trailers and ensure freight integrity.
• Represent the DPD brand professionally in all interactions.
