Job description

The role's key focus is to collect and analyze carbon data from internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with departments to develop comprehensive reporting and environmental certification processes. The role also supports the development and implementation of the company's sustainability programs.

What you'll do
  1. Undertake life cycle and embodied carbon assessments for internal processes and products.
  2. Support the development of policies on carbon footprint reduction, CSR, and other sustainability issues.
  3. Support environmental and sustainability initiatives through data gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  4. Contribute to achieving the company's sustainability goals by participating in developing roadmaps, supporting cross-functional projects, and coaching teams.
  5. Attend project meetings to ensure sustainability considerations when implementing new products, materials, or suppliers.
  6. Identify and support the implementation of opportunities to reduce carbon emissions.
  7. Develop data gathering and reporting KPIs, tools, and progress documentation.
  8. Use data and statistical analysis to identify improvement opportunities, prioritize projects, and justify proposed actions.
  9. Draft and deliver presentations and reports to communicate sustainability initiatives and their environmental impact.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
  11. Follow company policies and safety guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and applicable employment agreements.
What we're looking for
  1. Education: A formal degree in Sustainability or Environmental Science is a plus.
  2. Work experience: 2 years in a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in Excel, statistical analysis software, LCA software, and GHG calculations.
  4. Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO14040 standards.
  5. Understanding of sustainable development concepts and frameworks.
  6. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  7. Strong teamwork and influence skills across cross-functional teams.
  8. Flexibility regarding working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
