The role of the Sustainability Reporting Manager

As the Sustainability Reporting Manager at Lloyd’s, you will play a pivotal role in leading both external and internal sustainability reporting initiatives. You will drive the development of key sustainability reports, ensuring alignment with global frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ClimateWise, and the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Additionally, you will support Lloyd’s in meeting global sustainability reporting requirements, maintain our commitment to environmental responsibility through greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions measurement, and provide valuable insights to enhance our sustainability strategy.

Principal Accountabilities required of the Sustainability Reporting Manager

Corporation Sustainability Reporting:

• Lead the production of Lloyd’s annual sustainability report and align it with broader sustainability frameworks
• Identify new reporting initiatives aligning with Lloyd’s sustainability ambitions
• Manage sustainability-related information for regulators and rating agencies
• Support the production of Lloyd’s sustainability strategy and policies
• Global Sustainability Regulatory Reporting:
• Support Lloyd’s in delivering a global sustainability reporting framework.
• Monitor global sustainability reporting requirements and conduct peer analysis
• Assist in drafting responses to sustainability-related consultations
• Support Lloyd’s European office in implementing the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)

Sustainability Measurement and GHG Reporting:

• Lead Lloyd’s process for measuring Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions
• Act as a subject matter expert for measuring GHG emissions across Lloyd’s value chain
• Manage Lloyd’s process for calculating sustainability metrics and data collection

Market Oversight and Leadership:

• Act as a central Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support sustainability oversight
• Lead the assessment of market sustainability strategies
• Provide advice and thought leadership on sustainability to market-facing departments
