Job Description

This is a rare chance to join a growing Sustainability team at a top international law firm. The successful candidate will work on complex, high-impact legal matters—on par with junior associate-level tasks—in a fast-evolving practice area.

Fully integrated into the team, the paralegal will attend meetings, training, and development sessions alongside trainee solicitors, with a one-month handover to ensure a smooth transition.

They will support multiple deals from start to finish, handling regulatory disclosures, due diligence, legal research, and document management, with room to grow based on performance.

Reporting to the Sustainability Partners and working within the wider Investment Funds Group, the paralegal will also contribute to strategic and knowledge initiatives.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong project management and sound judgment
• Proficiency in MS Word; PowerPoint and Excel are a plus
• Numeracy and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed (with paid overtime)

Key Responsibilities

(May evolve over time)

• Draft pre-contractual and website disclosures under EU sustainability regulations
• Prepare presentations on regulatory alignment
• Conduct company research and summarize findings for due diligence
• Maintain deal trackers for disclosures and recommendations
• Respond to investor requests during fund formation
• Research regulatory developments and maintain knowledge databases
• Support the development of internal knowhow materials and intranet content
• Attend team meetings and training sessions
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Recognised Law degree or GDL (Top law school)
• Legal work experience (desirable if within an ESG/Sustainability team but not a must)
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters
• Proactive and eager to take on new challenges
