Job summary

Enva Group is seeking an Operations Administrator in Grantham to support the recycling and processing of appliances. You will manage employee records, payroll, and HR processes while ensuring safety compliance and efficient operations in a warehouse environment.

The role involves coordinating recruitment, onboarding, headcount planning, and disciplinary support to keep production on target while promoting responsible waste management practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to recycling.
• Ability to operate machinery or willingness to be trained.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Key understanding of HR policies and procedures.
• Disciplinary experience

Responsibilities

• Record management – Maintain and create employee database profiles, initial set up of all profiles to ensure both employee and employer have the correct access.
• Payroll administration – Ensure all employees’ timesheets are updated in accordance with attendance and OT; align leavers with end of contract payments.
• Recruitment – Coordinate with hiring managers, schedule interviews, arrange tests, pre-screen candidates, and prepare offers.
• Headcount – Ensure departments meet production demands and arrange training for cross-training.
• Disciplinary processes – Assist managers with disciplinary and grievance procedures and arrange probationary reviews.
• Absence management – Monitor absences and authorise annual leave in line with production needs.
• Compliance – Ensure training requirements are met and conduct toolbox talks.
• Reporting – Maintain recycling reports and provide key updates to stakeholders.
