Job summary

Enva in Grantham is seeking an Operations Administrator to support the recycling and processing of Small Domestic Appliances and fridges. You will ensure productivity, health and safety compliance, and HR-related support across the shift.

This role leads HR administration, attendance, onboarding, and reporting, with a 37.5 hour week in a warehouse setting, requiring good attention to detail and teamwork. The position offers a fixed-term, full-time contract and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to recycling.
• Ability to operate machinery or willingness to be trained.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Key understanding of HR policies and procedures.
• Disciplinary experience

Responsibilities

• Record management – Maintain and create employee database profiles and onboarding in systems.
• Payroll administration – Monitor timesheets, attendance and overtime; process starter/leaver paperwork.
• Recruitment – Coordinate interviews, tests, postings and candidate offers with HR.
• Headcount – Manage staffing levels and training requirements across departments.
• Disciplinary processes – Assist with investigations, hearings and probationary reviews.
• Absence management – Monitor absences and approve annual leave per production need.
• Compliance – Ensure training, toolbox talks and return-to-works documentation.
• Reporting – Maintain recycling reports, monitor production and stock levels.
