Job summary

Shirley Parsons is partnering with a Tier 1 contractor to recruit a Sustainability Manager who will shape and deliver sustainability across high-profile projects. You’ll lead, engage teams and clients, and drive tangible sustainability outcomes from pre-construction through to delivery.

You’ll own your diary, work autonomously and influence design teams, project leaders and supply chain to turn ambitious sustainability ambitions into results.

Qualifications

• Sustainability knowledge across pre-construction and delivery.
• Experience with carbon reduction and environmental certifications.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
• Creative problem solving and autonomous working style.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sustainability Agenda across projects, translating targets into action.
• Facilitate workshops with project teams, designers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Engage clients and supply-chain partners with sustainability insights and solutions.
• Identify opportunities for carbon reduction, circular economy and low-carbon delivery.
• Monitor performance, collect data and drive continuous improvement across projects.
