Job Title: Sustainability Engagement Officer

Location: Cambridge, Coventry, or Gateshead; UK.

Contract: Full-time, hours per week

We are looking for a Sustainability Engagement Officer to join the Sustainability team and bring our sustainability ambitions to life for our audiences and stakeholders worldwide.

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is a leading academic publisher and assessment organization, part of the University of Cambridge.

About the role

The role involves creating, planning, and delivering stakeholder engagement and communication programs to demonstrate our sustainability ambitions, encourage support, and showcase progress. You will collaborate with our global communications teams, measure campaign success against KPIs, and ensure accurate communication of our sustainability efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful sustainability initiatives and work with a passionate team committed to education and social/environmental impact.

About you

You should have experience in planning and delivering stakeholder engagement events and campaigns, with strong communication and marketing skills. Ability to tailor approaches to different audiences, develop engaging copy, and manage multiple projects with attention to detail is essential. You should be a proactive team player, organized, and familiar with sustainability challenges and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Essential skills and qualifications:

• Experience in communications, marketing, or event management

• Experience in measuring campaign success
