Job summary

SUEZ in Milton Keynes is seeking a Community Liaison Manager for the Energy from Waste facility. You will deliver engaging education and outreach activities, raising awareness of waste-to-resource concepts among schools and communities.

You'll build partnerships, develop content, and support campaigns while promoting sustainable practices and the circular economy across local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, training, community engagement, communications or sustainability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong written communication for newsletters and updates.
• Ability to engage large groups of children with engaging lessons.
• Develop ideas, manage projects and deliver initiatives.
• Interest in environmental services and circular economy; media experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging presentations, workshops and educational activities for schools and community groups.
• Manage and promote the visitor centre, coordinate site tours and support campaigns.
• Build relationships with local authorities, community organisations, businesses and residents.
• Create newsletters, educational materials, web updates and community content.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement activities.
• Collaborate with partners to strengthen sustainability understanding.
