Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Glasgow seeks a Sustainability Disclosure Accountant Director to lead regulatory and ESG disclosures for European entities. You will own production timetables, validate data, and coordinate with Finance, Risk and Legal to ensure timely, compliant reporting.

The role requires CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and strong drafting skills. A director-level focus on governance and cross-entity assurance is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/CPA/ACCA (or equivalent experience) with strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Experience running controlled production processes for regulatory reporting and/or external disclosures.
• At least 4-6 years relevant experience would generally be expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance and across the Firm on disclosures projects.
• Lead aspects of deliverables and projects with ownership of timelines and quality.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards; identify ways to reduce risk.
• Coordinate governance, documentation, and controls for disclosures production.
• Coordinate internal and external assurance activities and drive remediation actions.
• Present disclosures and analytics to Finance Senior Management for pre-filing diligence.
