Job summary

Morgan Stanley Glasgow is seeking a Sustainability Disclosure Accountant Director (AVP equivalent) to lead European disclosure templates and ensure timely, accurate reporting under US GAAP, IFRS and ESG standards.

You will own Pillar 3 ESG templates, EU Taxonomy and STE schedules, manage the production timetable, govern documentation and evidence packs, and coordinate internal and external assurance with Finance, Risk and Legal to support pre-filing review.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/CPA/ACCA with strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Experience running controlled production processes for regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management across Finance, Sustainability, Risk, Legal and Corporate Services.
• Experience of working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sustainability Disclosure deliverables for European legal entities, ensuring controlled processes, clear ownership, and timely hand-offs.
• Coordinate Pillar 3 ESG templates, EU Taxonomy templates, and STE schedules with governance and evidence packs.
• Manage production timetable and review inputs across Finance, Risk and other stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain governance, documentation and controls framework for disclosures production.
• Coordinate internal and external assurance activity and drive remediation to closure.
• Present disclosures and analytics to Finance Senior Management for pre-filing.
