Job summary

ASOS is seeking a Sustainability Assistant to support sustainable materials and circular design targets across core product categories. You will monitor progress, assist with certification and compliance, maintain data and reporting, and support training and process improvements.

A highly organised, detail-focused candidate with a passion for sustainability in fashion will thrive here. You'll work closely with internal teams and suppliers, analyse data to identify risks and opportunities, and

Qualifications

• Experience in fashion, retail or sustainability.
• Understanding of sustainability risks in fashion.
• Sustainable materials standards and certification.
• Knowledge of supply chains and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Confident with data and automation using Excel.
• Clear communication and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Sustainable Materials and Circular Design Programme delivery and alignment with targets.
• Analyse sustainability data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop and deliver training/resources for internal teams and suppliers.
• Act as a key contact with suppliers and buying teams.
• Lead compliance checks and governance documentation.
• Support reporting to Better Cotton and Textile Exchange.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
