Job summary

Enistic is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join its Oxford team. The role focuses on carbon reporting, energy analysis, and ESG strategy, with desk-based work and occasional on-site audits. You’ll manage large projects and raise quality across the team.

Primarily data-driven and report-focused, the position requires 2+ years in a sustainability role, solid GHG knowledge, and strong Excel skills. Hybrid working up to 2 days/week is available after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a sustainability or energy consultancy role.
• Strong working knowledge of GHG reporting frameworks (GHG Protocol, Scope 1, 2 & 3).
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written reports and technical calculations.
• Comfortable working predominantly at a desk; analytical, document-intensive role.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel or equivalent).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical literacy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex sustainability and carbon reporting projects from brief to delivery.
• Conduct detailed energy analysis and GHG emissions calculations for a range of clients.
• Produce clear, accurate, and well-structured written reports and recommendations.
• Translate large datasets into meaningful insights and practical action plans.
• Support clients in developing and progressing their sustainability strategies.
• Carry out a small number of on-site energy audits at smaller client sites (limited to a minor part).
• Stay current with evolving sustainability regulations, reporting frameworks and best practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the advisory team on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Contribute to internal quality assurance and peer review of client deliverables.
