Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking a Carbon Consultant to join our growing international sustainability team in Surrey on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will focus on carbon, data and decarbonisation work rather than only producing reports.

You’ll develop Scope 1-3 GHG assessments, analyse emissions data, support SBTi alignment, and build decarbonisation roadmaps for UK and international clients. The role combines technical analysis with client engagement and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• A few years' experience in sustainability, carbon or environmental consulting.
• Practical experience with GHG Protocol and corporate carbon footprinting.
• Understanding of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
• Knowledge of SBTi / science-based targets.
• Strong analytical and numerical Excel skills.
• Ability to turn data into practical recommendations.
• Interest in decarbonisation, net-zero strategy and the commercial side of sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Developing Scope 1-3 GHG assessments for clients.
• Analyze emissions data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Support SBTi alignment and net-zero strategies.
• Develop decarbonisation roadmaps and action plans.
• Quantify carbon reduction opportunities and costs.
• Contribute to client conversations and identify new business areas.
