Job summary

Future Biogas in Guildford is seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to help shape renewable gas oversight, environmental certification and energy attribute trading across the business. Qualifications

• Experience in sustainability compliance or environmental auditing.
• Knowledge of ISCC accreditations and energy certification processes.
• Understanding of Renewable Heat Incentive compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with energy attribute certificates (mass balancing, book-and-claim, chain of custody).
• Awareness of evolving legislative landscape for energy attributes and additionality requirements.
• Strong Excel-based data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage RGGO registries and internal databases, coordinating data for trades and contracts.
• Coordinate ISCC audits and ensure data and processes are compliant.
• Coordinate voluntary biomass fuel certification across sites.
• Support RHI compliance, reviewing data from farming, operations, finance and energy platforms.
• Support environmental audit programmes and sustainability certification processes.
• Measure, report and verify environmental performance, including emissions dashboards and investor reporting.
• Research evolving sustainability regulations and certification requirements to improve internal policies.
• Support due diligence on assets and contribute to wider sustainability initiatives.
