Job summary

Future Biogas in Guildford (Hybrid) is seeking a Policy Advisor to shape policy across renewable energy, agriculture and carbon capture. You will influence strategy, interact with senior stakeholders and translate complex policy into commercial insights.

You will monitor UK/EU developments, lead consultation responses, and represent the company at industry events, working across the business to identify opportunities and communicate policy progress.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to monitor UK/EU policy and translate into commercial actions.
• Strong research, analysis and writing skills across renewables or government policy.
• Experience engaging with government bodies and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor UK and European policy developments across energy, agriculture, waste and carbon markets.
• Track strategic areas like carbon capture, soil sequestration and green gas.
• Lead consultation responses gathering input from diverse stakeholders.
• Represent Future Biogas at industry events and working groups.
• Build relationships with government departments, MPs and industry bodies.
• Support RFIs and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Deliver policy updates, presentations and webinars to internal and external audiences.
• Produce articles on renewable energy and the UK's net-zero journey.
