Job summary

Equans is seeking a Sustainability Compliance Officer in Leeds on a permanent basis to support the Regional Sustainability Team with PAS 2030:2023 compliance and accreditation requirements. The role involves preparing weekly compliance paperwork for Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies, and ensuring deadlines are met.

You will advise regional delivery teams on energy efficiency measures, maintain sector knowledge, and collaborate with partners to drive compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the energy sector.
• Understanding of low carbon and energy efficiency technologies.
• Prior experience delivering work under Government led incentive scheme.
• Understand the Sustainability Sector and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collate, validate and prepare PAS 2030:2023 compliance paperwork weekly.
• Provide compliance advice to regional delivery teams.
• Ensure zero compliance failures from submission information.
• Maintain knowledge and pass on sector insights to the regional team.
• Engage with supply chain partners to support project delivery.
• Meet all Strategic Partner contractual deadlines.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Sustainability Compliance Officer to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

General Overview

To support the Regional Sustainability Team in adhering to scheme delivery requirements in line with funding and accreditation requirements and maintaining the necessary associated accreditations.

This role will be responsible for collating, validating and preparing PAS 2030:2023 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance.

What will you deliver?

• Producing of all necessary paperwork associated with installation of Energy Efficiency measure in line with PAS 2030:2023 process
• Working closely with scheme Retrofit Coordinators ensuring PAS installation paperwork is provided in line with the main contract programmes
• Maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the sector and pass this knowledge onto the wider regional team
• Provide compliance advice to regional delivery teams regarding energy efficiency measures
• To ensure that there are zero compliance failures resulting from poor and inaccurate submission information
• To ensure all Strategic Partner contractual deadlines are adhered to
• Engage with key supply chain partners to support the effective development and delivery of projects
