Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland in Leeds is seeking a Sustainability Compliance Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. You will support the Regional Sustainability Team by collating and validating PAS 2030:2023 paperwork and ensuring timely submissions to clients, energy suppliers and accreditation bodies.

The role focuses on maintaining accreditations, advising delivery teams on compliance, and working with partners to drive zero-fault submissions while meeting contractual deadlines and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the energy sector and PAS 2030:2023 compliance processes.
• Understanding of low carbon and energy efficiency technologies.
• Experience delivering work under government-led incentive schemes.
• Ability to advise on sustainability compliance and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce paperwork for Energy Efficiency installations per PAS 2030:2023.
• Coordinate with Retrofit Coordinators to align with main contracts.
• Share sector knowledge with the regional team.
• Provide compliance guidance to regional delivery teams.
• Ensure zero compliance failures from submissions.
• Meet all Strategic Partner deadlines.
• Engage with supply chain partners to support project delivery.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Sustainability Compliance Officer to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

General Overview

To support the Regional Sustainability Team in adhering to scheme delivery requirements in line with funding and accreditation requirements and maintaining the necessary associated accreditations. This role will be responsible for collating, validating and preparing PAS 2030:2023 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance.

What will you deliver?

• Producing of all necessary paperwork associated with installation of Energy Efficiency measure in line with PAS 2030:2023 process
• Working closely with scheme Retrofit Coordinators ensuring PAS installation paperwork is provided in line with the main contract programmes
• Maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the sector and pass this knowledge onto the wider regional team
• Provide compliance advice to regional delivery teams regarding energy efficiency measures
• To ensure that there are zero compliance failures resulting from poor and inaccurate submission information
• To ensure all Strategic Partner contractual deadlines are adhered to
• Engage with key supply chain partners to support the effective development and delivery of projects
