Job summary

Rullion Ltd is recruiting a Sustainability Adviser for a permanent role near Whitehaven, UK. You will develop and implement energy management and carbon reduction plans, ensure ISO 50001 compliance, and support the client’s Sustainability Plan across projects.

You will guide bid and operational teams, explore innovative sustainable practices, and contribute to the company’s sustainability strategy. Must have construction sustainability knowledge and ideally a degree with ISEF membership; nuclear

Qualifications

Good knowledge of sustainability issues in construction.
Preferably Degree level qualified; ISEF membership preferred or in progress.
Must understand construction processes and work with engineers to find sustainable solutions.
Good understanding of carbon reduction planning.
Experience in Nuclear industry.

Responsibilities

Develop project specific sustainability management plans aligned to client strategy.
Coordinate with site teams and supply chain to meet sustainability objectives.
Develop communication tools (guidance, training materials, newsletters) for stakeholders.
Assist with ISO 50001 commitments, data collection and reporting.
Identify opportunities to deliver value through sustainable approaches.
Assist designers/engineers in adopting sustainable materials and methods.
Capture best practices and publish case studies to improve performance.
Engage procurement to drive continuous improvement.
Report monthly on project and business sustainability performance.
Support bids (PQQs, tenders, interviews).
