Job summary

hana group is seeking a passionate Sushi Chef for a busy kitchen based inside Morrisons, Scunthorpe. You will work in a fast-paced environment delivering fresh, high-quality sushi and upholding strict food safety practices.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, energetic, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The role includes early shifts from 6:30am and opportunities for growth within a dynamic, international business.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Safety regulations and Health & Safety rules.
• Ability to follow brand standards and policies.
• Pride in maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand each shift, including raw fish and meat.
• Ensure accurate labelling in line with food safety and allergen regulations.
• Multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace and storage areas.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Work early shifts when required (from 6:30am).
• Continuously develop your skills and support your team’s growth.

Pay & Location

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.71


• Paid fortnightly, providing consistent and reliable income

• Based inside Morrisons - Scunthorpe, working in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
