Job summary

Hana Group is seeking a Sushi Chef for our new kiosk, Asian Corner at Morrison's Preston Riverway. The role requires a minimum of 24 hours per week and includes early starts around 6am. You will craft fresh sushi, manage raw fish handling, and uphold food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing sushi and handling raw fish is preferred.
• Understand and apply food safety and allergen controls in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work early shifts and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift.
• Label products accurately, ensuring allergen and food safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and storerooms.
• Be an early riser; shifts can start at 6am on some days.
• Deliver high-quality, sustainable sushi to customers with a smile.

• Be a skilled Multitasker in a fast-paced environment
• Able to clean the workspace and storerooms as required
• Be organised
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves.
• An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days
• Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Qualifications

Paying up to £12.71 to 13 per hour depending on experience
