Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to join their team in Wakefield. You will undertake surveying and analytical duties across a range of client sites, ensuring compliance with HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation.

Working independently with a technical team, you will deliver high-quality surveying and analytical services, contributing to a well-regarded UKAS-accredited consultancy with strong regional coverage and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications are essential.
• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst is required.
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248 and asbestos legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties.
• Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites.
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of client sites throughout Wakefield and the surrounding region.

Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor Analyst will deliver high-quality surveying and analytical services while ensuring full compliance with HSG264, HSG248, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

• Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248

• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports

• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)

• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst

• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation

• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable

• Full UK driving licence

• Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills

• Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
