Job summary

GAP Group Limited is looking for a Depot Workshop Manager to oversee the Survey & Safety workshop facilities and advise the General Manager on best practice. You will inspect, test, maintain and calibrate equipment to the manufacturers’ specifications and ensure it is ready for hire.

You will also help develop and train staff while leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment within the UK-wide GAP Hire Solutions network.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a similar role within the survey/hire industry.
• Understanding of survey equipment, hire products and customer base in the Falkirk area would be beneficial.
• Ability to lead and develop a high performing team with strong detail orientation.
• Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Survey & Safety workshop facilities and advise the General Manager on best practice and procedures.
• Inspect, test, maintain and calibrate equipment to manufacturers' specifications and ensure readiness for hire.
• Assist the General Manager with staff development and training.
