Job summary

GAP Group is recruiting for a Survey & Safety Technician in the United Kingdom. The role involves inspecting, testing and maintaining hire equipment, performing safety checks and calibration before dispatch, and completing required documentation.

You will help keep workshop stock ready and support ongoing training to stay updated with equipment. Experience in a busy depot as a survey technician and strong IT skills are essential, with a full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a survey technician within a busy depot or similar environment.
• The ability to diagnose and repair survey equipment.
• Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required.
• A high level of IT literacy - particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and maintain hire equipment dispatched and returned from customers.
• Carry out comprehensive safety checks and calibration of all hire equipment before dispatch.
• Complete all necessary documentation and keep records up to date.
• Maintain the workshop and equipment to ensure core hire stock is available.
• Support learning and development through ongoing training.
