Job summary

East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse in the Surgical Unit (Band 5) on a fixed term basis. The role covers assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high-quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, with emphasis on patient-centred care and thorough documentation.

The post offers flexible rostering with day, evening, late and night shifts across Ward 5, Surgical Day Case Unit and STU.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Understanding of NMC Code, safeguarding and consent.
• Post-registration clinical training relevant to surgical nursing.
