Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a two-year post to join a new research team in surgical oncology. The nurse will manage an allocated portfolio of studies, covering planning, recruitment and data management, and provide nursing care during study visits.

You will work to ICH-GCP and UK governance standards, with liaising between Trust teams and external colleagues; requires NMC registration, a nursing degree, and significant specialty experience.

Qualifikationen

• Registered nurse with UK first-level degree and NMC registration.
• Specialist training to postgraduate diploma level in the recruiting area.
• Experience with research methodologies in clinical trials.

Aufgaben

• Hold day-to-day responsibility for an allocated portfolio of studies and their participants.
• Plan, schedule and conduct studies, including interventions.
• Recruit and retain study participants.
• Manage study data.
• Provide nursing care to participants during research visits.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate participant care during visits.
• Coordinate allocated clinical trials and research studies.
• Ensure informed consent procedures are followed and support participants in decisions about study entry.
