Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated RN leader to manage venous access and infusion therapy within an acute care unit. You will develop care plans, mentor staff, and ensure safety and quality in patient services. The role emphasizes collaboration with the healthcare team and ongoing staff development.

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure and BLS CPR, with 1+ year leadership and acute care experience preferred. A strong focus on communication and professional growth supports this position.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• BLS CPR certification required
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
• 1+ nursing experience in acute care preferred
• CMSRN/CNOR/CRNI/NRP-A/CMSRN-BC certifications preferred
• Additional licensure or certifications may apply per unit/state requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapies and adjust care plans.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access patients.
• Educate patients about venous access and infusion therapy to support understanding and adherence.
• Lead unit staff, provide feedback and conduct appraisals to uphold standards.
