Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Surgical First Assistant to support Trauma and Orthopaedic teams across MWL Hospital sites. The post holder will assist in perioperative care, coordinate theatre sessions, and liaise with theatre staff to maintain safe patient care throughout procedures.

The role requires strong communication, coordination of care, and the ability to work flexibly within a multi-disciplinary NHS team.

Qualifications

• Experience in perioperative care and working as a Surgical First Assistant.
• Ability to coordinate theatre lists and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care within NHS settings.

Responsabilités

• Assist in Trauma and Orthopaedics and perioperative care.
• Coordinate and support theatre lists across MWL Hospital sites as needed.
