Job summary

Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital is seeking a Surgical Care Practitioner to join the Cardiology bank team on a part-time basis. You will be registered with HCPC or NMC and bring post-registration perioperative experience, delivering high standards of care with a meticulous approach.

You’ll prioritise patient safety, promote a safe environment, support governance, manage theatre activity, and collaborate with clinicians to enhance service delivery across the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
• Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures).
• Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Quality governance framework and national standards.
• Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion.
• Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships.
• Take charge of a theatre, co-ordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.
