Job summary

Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital is seeking a Surgical Care Practitioner to join the bank, part-time team. You will be registered (HCPC or NMC) and bring perioperative care expertise to support our theatres and patient pathways.

As a flexible practitioner, you will coordinate theatre activity, lead junior staff, and uphold governance and safety standards while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in perioperative care with a focus on patient safety.
• Registration with the appropriate governing body (HCPC or NMC) is required.
• Knowledge of governance, national standards and evidence-based guidelines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of a theatre and coordinate activities.
• Lead junior practitioners and support colleagues in delivery of care.

You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience.
