Up to £29 per hour depending on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Surgical Care Practitioner at ourTunbridge Wells Hospital,you’reregistered with theappropriate governingbody and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC or NMC registration. You bring a passion forhigh standardsin perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience.You’rea focused,flexibleand motivated team worker.

As a Surgical Care Practitioner , you will:

• Prioritise patient safety, takingappropriate actionsand encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.

• Promote a safe working environment for patients,visitorsand staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures)

• Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health’s Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professionalstandardsand evidence-based guidelines.

• Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity,respectand compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care,treatmentor condition.

• Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.

• Take charge of a theatre, co-ordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.
