Job summary

Bimplus in Middlesex offers a permanent Surfacing Supervisor – Civils role focusing onsite supervision, planning and coordination across multiple surfacing and civils sites. You will manage gangs, ensure safety and delivery to programme while working with senior management.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience in surfacing/asphalt/highways or civils, CSCS card, and SSSTS/SMSTS. A full UK driving licence and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervising 2 – 4 surfacing and civils gangs across multiple sites.
• Coordinating asphalt, surfacing, footway and associated civils works.
• Planning labour, plant and materials to maintain programme.
• Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, briefings and quality checks.
• Maintaining accurate site records and progress information while resolving issues promptly.
• Liaising with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, Local Authorities and senior management.

An experienced Surfacing Supervisor – Civils is required for an established highways, surfacing and civil engineering contractor. The role combines site supervision with planning and coordination, overseeing multiple gangs and ensuring surfacing and associated civils works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The successful Surfacing Supervisor will have a strong background in asphalt, surfacing, highways or civils and be confident managing teams across multiple sites.

Location

Full-time, Permanent Position

This is a permanent position working generally Monday to Friday, with full working days and a Saturday half day.
