Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Supply Officer at Broughton for a hybrid contract role. You will manage supplier portfolios, monitor demand and forecasts, and drive improvements across the supply chain while collaborating with global teams.

The position requires experience with SAP, MRP, and LEAN practices, and travel as needed. You will work 35 hours per week in a fast‑moving, digitally focused environment, supporting world‑class wing programmes across the network connected to procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Weeks include supply chain, procurement, manufacturing or design engineering.
• Experience with digital tools and cross‑functional collaboration.
• MSP SAP and MRP familiarity in manufacturing settings.
• Strong problem solving and proactive mindset.
• Clear communication at all levels; willingness to travel occasionally.
• Exposure to LEAN methodologies and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers using existing and new digital tools.
• Monitor demand, forecast, and maintain order books with data insights.

Supply Officer

Location: Broughton (Hybrid - minimum 3 days onsite)

Contract Type: Contract

Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5‑day working pattern)

Flexible hours within a 7am-7pm operating window

Competitive pay (PAYE: £21.68/hr | Umbrella: £29.00/hr)

We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the Supply Chain Operations team as a Supply Officer based at Broughton. Working with Guidant Global, you'll be part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking organisation supporting Airbus' world‑class wing programmes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, digitally focused environment and enjoys building strong relationships within a truly global supply chain. You'll work across a dynamic network that connects the Broughton plant with key final assembly lines and Procurement teams, helping ensure materials and components flow smoothly across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Supplier & Supply Chain Management

• Managing a portfolio of suppliers using existing systems and new digital tools.
• Monitoring demand, controlling forecasts and maintaining accurate order books.
• Using data insights to drive decision‑making and identify risks early.
• Leading supplier recovery plans when performance needs improvement.
• Owning and optimising procured goods stock levels.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

• Acting as the main point of contact for supply chain queries from operations.
• Communicating clearly with internal teams, colleagues, and external suppliers.
• Collaborating transnationally as part of a global procurement community.

Process & Performance Improvement

• Defining optimal ordering strategies and supporting automation opportunities.
• Maintaining MRP master data within SAP and supporting digital transformation projects.
• Coordinating supplier working parties and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with solid experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering or Design Engineering
• Working with digital tools and solutions
• Transnational collaboration
• MRP and SAP expertise in a manufacturing setting
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive mindset
• Confident communication skills at all levels
• Experience in project management and/or LEAN methodologies
• A team‑focused approach and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally
