Job summary

Airbus in Belfast is seeking a Supply Officer to manage a varied supplier portfolio in a fast-paced, digitally-enabled environment. The role is onsite in Belfast and involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-cost delivery across Airbus Wing Programmes.

Qualifications

• Background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
• Experience with digital tools (SAP or MRP) desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence managing supplier relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Proactive, organised approach and the ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of suppliers using Airbus' digital tools and processes.
• Monitoring demand, forecasts and material availability to keep production flowing.
• Identifying potential risks early and leading mitigation or recovery actions.
• Using data to drive decisions, optimise stock, and improve supply chain performance.
• Challenging and supporting suppliers to achieve targets.
• Acting as the first point of contact for supply-chain queries from operational teams.
• Coordinating supplier working parties and collaborating with Quality, Procurement and Operations teams.
• Maintaining accurate order books and MRP master data, including SAP usage.
• Supporting ongoing supply chain and logistics transformation projects.

About the Role

As a Supply Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring that Airbus' global supplier network delivers on time, on cost and to the highest quality. Working within a digitally‑enabled supply chain environment, you'll manage a portfolio of suppliers, maintain strong operational relationships, and help drive continuous improvement across all Airbus Wing Programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing a varied portfolio of suppliers using Airbus' digital business tools and processes.

• Coordinating supplier working parties and collaborating closely with colleagues across Quality, Procurement and Operations-both locally and transnationally.


• Maintaining accurate order books and MRP master data, including SAP usage.


• Supporting ongoing supply chain and logistics transformation projects.

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a range of industries. If you have strong supply chain experience and enjoy working with suppliers and data, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential experience includes:

• Background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Engineering


• Experience working with digital tools (SAP or MRP highly desirable)


• Strong problem‑solving skills and confidence managing supplier relationships


• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively at all levels


• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to \"hit the ground running\"

Desirable

• Google Suite experience


• Experience in a transnational environment


• LEAN or project management exposure

Contract Details

• Hours: 36 per week (4.5‑day week between 7am-7pm, agreed with business)


• Rates: £21.91 per hour (PAYE) | £29.00 per hour (umbrella)


• Clearance: BPSS+ (processed by Airbus)


• Travel: None required
