Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs at our primary school in Camden, Central London. This full-time, permanent position involves providing tailored support to help students with additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language delays, access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will collaborate with teachers and the SENCo to implement individual learning plans, assist students during lessons, and support their social and emotional development. Your efforts will help students succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
  2. Assist in lesson preparation and delivery, ensuring accessibility for all students.
  3. Support learning tasks across subjects, focusing on literacy and numeracy.
  4. Monitor student progress and provide tailored support in collaboration with teachers.
  5. Promote positive behavior and social-emotional development.
  6. Assist in developing and implementing IEPs and learning interventions.
  7. Create an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
