Aylesbury-based school is seeking an Inclusion and Behaviour Support Officer to help pupils engage positively with school life. You will work with pastoral staff to support behaviour, promote inclusion and help pupils overcome barriers to learning.

The role involves targeted behaviour support, implementing individual plans, monitoring incidents and liaising with staff and families. You will champion safeguarding, de-escalation and strong relationships to enable learners to return to lessons

Qualifications

• Previous behaviour support, pastoral or inclusion experience is essential.
• School-based experience is highly desirable.
• Confident supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication, de-escalation and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, resilient and able to maintain professional boundaries.
• A sound understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
