Overview

Supported Living Manager, Birmingham. Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health. This position does NOT require you to take a CQC registration. Location north Birmingham, easily commutable from Walsall.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a Supported Living service for adults with learning disabilities in a large, modern apartment complex with residential and communal facilities.
  • Ensure care quality is at the forefront of service management, supporting residents to live as independently as possible.
  • Manage quality and compliance, maintaining a genuinely person-centred approach to care.
  • Lead, mentor and inspire the team to uphold the organisation’s ethos, fostering a culture where ideas are encouraged and staff development is supported.
  • Develop and implement high standards of care, activity programming, and opportunities for personal development and progression for staff and residents alike.
  • Collaborate with senior management and regional support functions to deliver excellent service outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in managerial roles within supported living, with a focus on learning disabilities, autism, and mental health.
  • Strong commitment to quality, compliance, and genuinely person-centred care.
  • Ability to build and lead teams, mentor individuals, and promote a positive, development-oriented culture.
  • Able to work autonomously, take ownership, make decisions, and contribute to service improvement.
  • Experience working with PBS/positive behaviour support functions is advantageous.
