Job Description:

Butlers Park Way, Strood, Kent £38,500 per annum Full-time | Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm (with flexibility required alongside on-call rota).

Are you a passionate and experienced care professional ready to lead a dynamic supported living service? Were looking for a Supported Living Care Manager to join our team in Strood, reporting to our Operations Manager, who is CQC Registered for all Kent Autistic Trust Supported Living Services.

About the Role:

You will lead a busy service supporting 7 autistic adults living in their own self-contained flats. Our tenants enjoy a rich and active lifestyle from holidays abroad to summer BBQs.

As a hands-on leader, you will ensure a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where individuals can thrive. You will manage a dedicated 24/7 staff team across early, late, and night shifts, and play a key role in maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

What Were Looking For:

We are looking for a strong and visible leader with a minimum of five years experience of coaching and developing a specialist care support team, with an emphasis on practice leadership.

In this role you will need to be someone who will act where they see a problem or opportunity. You will be expected to quickly adapt to challenging situations to ensure that we keep people safe and manage risk positively.

You will already be experienced in the application of regulatory requirements, such as The Care Act and Health and Social Care Act and be knowledgeable about relevant legal frameworks such as Safeguarding, DoLS, MCA and best interest processes. Ideally you will already hold a Level 5 Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with Senior Management and the Quality and Compliance team to achieve our quality vision.

You will be supported by an experienced Assistant Manager and team leaders and specialist support staff. The support team operate 24/7 on 3 week rolling rota, comprising early and late shifts.

You will ensure the service is safe and build positive and engaging relationships with tenants, families, staff, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
