Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a Supported Housing Regulatory Compliance Lead Officer to shape how supported, specified and temporary accommodation operates across the region. You will provide senior technical leadership on compliance with Housing Benefit, Care Act and supported housing regulations, working across Housing, Homelessness, Adult Social Care and external partners.

With the 2027 regulatory framework coming into force, you will help develop governance arrangements, standards

Responsibilities

• Senior technical leadership on supported housing and Housing Benefit compliance
• Review accommodation models, rent structures and support arrangements for compliance and value for money
• Translate housing legislation into practical operational guidance and support decision-making
