Ballyoan House is a supported living accommodation providing care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. Ballyoan House offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, assisting tenants in developing skills and participating in daily decision-making.

Requirements include:

1. QCF/NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and at least 6 months experience in a formal care/support role, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
2. Current registration with NISCC, or if new to the sector, registration must be achieved within 6 months.
3. Alternatively, 2 years’ experience in a formal care/support role with relevant experience with learning disabilities or mental health issues, and registration with NISCC or registration within 6 months if new.
4. Willingness to work towards relevant qualification.

*Formal Care / Support may include caring at home with Carers’ Allowance or voluntary work in a formal setting.
