RCS Care Solutions in Taunton is seeking caring, compassionate and reliable people to join our team as support workers helping adults with learning disabilities lead happy, healthy lives.

You will support daily activities at home and in the community, with shifts including afternoons, evenings, and occasional sleep-ins; full time, part time and sessional options available. We value respect, dignity and person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly across day, evening and weekend shifts.

We are RCS Care Solutions and it’s our aim to provide a high quality care service supporting adults with learning disabilities. We’re seeking to recruit support workers who are able to encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support. We support three people in a bungalow in Taunton, we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to support with day to day activities and support people to go out in the community.

Hours;

Full time, part time and sessional opportunities available.

Weekdays - Shifts are 15:00-21:00.

Sleep-ins 22:00-08:00.

Weekends - 08:00-21:00 and 08:00-15:00 & 10:00-17:00

The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. As a support worker with RCS you will be using a person – centred approach to the care you give allowing all the individuals we support achieve their goals and become as independent as possible. You will be supporting people in their own home and also support people in the community.

As a general guide, duties may include some support with personal care needs, as well as helping the person we are supporting to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, travel, musical evenings, cinema, swimming, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
