Job summary

Potens is pleased to offer a Support Worker role at Primavera House in Aldershot to support 6 young adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy and/or autism to live as independently as possible within their local community.

The role is 40 hours per week on a variety of shifts, may include waking nights to cover leave, and involves weekend work. A contributory pension and learning opportunities (NVQ levels 2–5) are provided to support your future.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate required or available to complete with us.
• NVQ Levels 2-5 in Health & Social Care offered.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialist care for 6 young adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and/or autism.
• Supporting 1-1 and promoting positive well-being.
• Maintaining a high level of support to meet service needs.
• Participating in activities and interests of the people we support.
• Developing community links and enabling independent living.
