Job summary

Potens is offering an exciting Support Worker role at our Woodside Farmhouse service in St Austell. We support adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge, providing a high quality, person-centred environment.

You will provide proactive, caring support, help residents learn new skills for greater independence, and assist with personal care and practical needs as part of a small team. Shifts include earlies, lates, sleep-ins (occasional) and weekends.

• Support workers collaborate within a team to deliver person-centred care.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, respectful support.

Responsibilities

• Providing proactive, positive and caring support to adults living at our service.
• Enabling people to learn new skills towards living more independently.
• Assisting and providing individuals with support for their emotional and practical needs.
• Personal care.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
• Be a part of developing and implementing person centred care plans.
• Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
• Shifts will include earlies, lates, sleep-ins (occasional) and weekends.
• Bank holiday working is also required.
