Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network (AILN) in Ayr is seeking a Support Worker to assist a sociable lady with Down Syndrome. Hours are around 10 hours per week, with a part-time on-site arrangement and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour, pro-rata for holidays.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months' care experience; you should be attentive, organised and capable of managing your own workload. A full driving licence would be an advantage. PVG checks and two references are required.

Responsibilities

• Support the client to access activities she enjoys (travelling, cinema, gym, swimming).
• Assist with day-to-day tasks and accompany to appointments as needed.
• Maintain safety and provide transport assistance where required.
