Be There When It Matters Night Support Worker - Supporting Young People
Join us as a Waking Nights Support Worker in St Albans and discover what makes this work so rewarding!
We are expanding our team at our residential children’s home in St Albans, supporting up to five children and young people aged 11 to 18 with learning disabilities and autism.
You will be a calming presence during night shifts, checking regularly to ensure young people are comfortable and sleeping well, preparing them for the next day. Support with intimate care will be required to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. Your role is vital in making young people feel safe, especially those new to the environment. Additionally, you will help maintain a tidy house to ensure a welcoming start to each day.
This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week.
Experience working with people with learning disabilities is helpful but not essential, as full induction and ongoing training will be provided. You must hold a UK Manual Licence to drive.
