Job summary

Jane Lewis Healthcare Recruitment is seeking experienced Support Workers for waking nights in Dunstable to support someone with spinal cord injury and brain injury at home. You will work in a double-staffed shift and help with daily activities, personal care, and records, ensuring safety and person-centred care.

You must be 18+, have at least six months care experience in the UK, and have the right to work in the UK. DBS check is provided, and training is given to prepare for this role.

Support Worker - Waking Nights

Location: Dunstable

Pay: From £14.85 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

Jane Lewis is looking for experienced Support Workers in Dunstable to support someone with a spinal cord injury and an acquired brain injury in their own home.

They live alone with their friendly dog, who is an important part of their life, so you'll need to be comfortable around dogs. Their care needs include support with hoisting and a feeding tube.

All shifts are double staffed, so you'll always work alongside another member of the care team.

What you'll be doing:

What you'll need:

• To be aged 18 or over
• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years.
• The right to work in the UK
