Join Our Compassionate Team as a Waking Night Support Worker in Arbury, Cambridgeshire!

Do you have a heart full of compassion and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others? If so, we invite you to join us as a Waking Night Support Worker in Arbury, Cambridgeshire.

  • Part-time – 24 hours per week
  • Shift – 8 pm to 8 am
  • Full UK driving licence with own car essential
  • £12.00 per hour

About the Role: As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing overnight care and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support during the night.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks with empathy and sensitivity.
  • Monitoring well-being throughout the night and responding to any issues or emergencies.
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Administering medications as prescribed, following proper protocols.
  • Providing updates and exchanging information with other team members to ensure continuity of support.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to support others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Previous experience in support work is desirable but not essential.
  • Availability to work waking night shifts is required, with flexibility to work daytime shifts during the training and induction period.
  • Willingness to work across two or three different locations in Cambridgeshire in the future.
  • £500 bonus for successful friend referrals.
