Job description

Care Support Worker

Salary: £24,863 per annum

Location: Braintree, Essex

Weekly Hours: 7-14:30 9-16:30 14:30-22:00

We currently have 2 positions available:

1 x 37.5 hours - Full Time, Permanent
1 x 22.5 hours - Part Time, Permanent

There is an option to work across all 3 of our services:

Alexandra Mews & Allen House - Braintree
Epping Way - Witham

You will be working across a 24/7 rota, working 5 days a week. There will be a requirement for 1 sleep in a week which is paid at £73 outside of normal contracted hours.

Shifts - 7am-2.30pm (Early), 9am-4.30pm (Middle), 2.30pm-10pm (Late).

Your typical day could start with creating and implementing support plans consistently and correctly for our customers. Then you might be supporting individuals to pursue hobbies and leisure activities at home and in their community by being innovative, enthusiastic and encouraging.

As a Care Support Worker, you’ll be assisting people to live their best life. With a particular focus supporting people with kindness and compassion. You will support people with all aspects of daily living including assisting people with their personal care and health needs.

Your kind, compassionate and driven to protect the rights of the people you support. You’ll respect individual characters you are supporting and the different wants and needs they may have. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be available to work on a rota basis which is covered over a 24/7 period. Some waking nights and sleep ins will be required.

Your role covers all aspects of care and support. If you’re a caring & compassionate person, then we want to hear from you.

A Full UK driving licence and access to your own car is required for these roles.
