Eden Futures seeks dedicated Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs in their homes and communities. This full-time role involves helping service users achieve independence while offering companionship and assistance in daily tasks. Successful candidates will be compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to fostering an inclusive environment.
We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs.
We are recruiting Support Workers to join the teamacross our Supported Living Services, supportingindividuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
*Roles are paid at an hourly rate£12.21, or £26,652.72 annually based on a 42 hour working week. The salary shown is as a per annum equivalent for illustration purposes only.
This is a full time contracted position.
Successful candidates will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencing employment.

When you first join Eden Futures, you will be paid for completing a comprehensive Induction Programme involving face-to-face training, e-learning and shadowing experienced members of your team.
For those new to care, we will make sure that you are given the support to complete your Care Certificate and gain a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or relevant to your role, partnering with our provider company Lifetime Training.

The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020) provides that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’. This means that they do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are disclosed, employers cannot take them into account.
Guidance about whether a conviction or caution should be disclosed can be found on the Ministry of Justice website. It’s a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with vulnerable adults.
